Workshop and Masterclass Refund Policy
Bookings
When you purchase access to a workshop or masterclass, you are reserving a place in a scheduled session. As places may be limited and planning occurs in advance, cancellation terms apply.
Cancellations with at Least 72 Hours’ Notice
If you cancel your booking at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time, you may elect to receive either:
• a credit equal to the amount paid, to be used toward a future workshop or masterclass, or
• a transfer of your booking to another available session of the same or similar value, subject to availability
Credits and transfers are generally provided in place of a cash refund unless otherwise determined by us or required by law.
Cancellations with Less Than 72 Hours’ Notice
If you cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, you will generally not be entitled to a refund, credit, or transfer.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial credit or transfer in exceptional circumstances, but we are not obliged to do so.
Non-Attendance
If you do not attend a booked workshop or masterclass and have not provided the required notice, your booking will be treated as forfeited. No refund will be issued. Any credit or transfer will be at our sole discretion.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us
If we cancel a workshop or masterclass, you will be offered either:
• a full refund, or
• a credit or transfer to a future session
If we reschedule a workshop or masterclass and you are unable to attend the new date, you may request either:
• a full refund, or
• a credit or transfer to a future session
Credits and Transfers
Any credit issued by us:
• must be used within the period specified at the time of issue, or if no period is specified, within 12 months
• is not redeemable for cash unless required by law
• may only be applied to eligible products or services offered by Learn How to Learn
Any approved transfer:
• is subject to availability
• may be limited in number per booking
• cannot be guaranteed for sold-out, discontinued, or substantially different sessions
Digital Content and Downloadable Materials
If you purchase a product or service through a payment plan, you are responsible for completing all payments under that plan.
If any payment is missed or declined, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the relevant product, service, workshop, masterclass, or content until the account is brought up to date.
Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.
If you choose to use a third-party payment provider, lender, or finance option, you are solely responsible for reviewing and accepting their terms. We are not responsible for any separate agreement entered into with a third party.
Payment Plans
By attending any live or online workshop, masterclass, or event conducted by Learn How to Learn, you acknowledge and agree that we may record audio, video, photographs, screenshots, written comments, and related content for educational, promotional, marketing, archival, and content purposes.
You grant us permission to use your name, image, likeness, voice, comments, and participation in connection with such recordings and materials without further payment, approval, or review, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
If you do not wish to appear in recorded content, you must notify us in writing before the event at alan@learnhowtolearn.com.au. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but complete exclusion cannot be guaranteed in all group or public event settings.
We reserve the right to refuse service, deny entry, remove a participant, or revoke access to any product, workshop, masterclass, or event where a person engages in behaviour that is disruptive, abusive, threatening, unlawful, inappropriate, or otherwise detrimental to the experience of others or the integrity of the event.
Where access is removed due to participant misconduct, no refund, credit, or transfer will be provided unless required by law.
